Ellipse Wheelset

The Mavic Ellipse Wheelset is engineered for track cycling, training, and competition. Featuring 30mm deep aluminium rims and 15mm internal width, these wheels are designed for clincher tyres. The robust construction includes 20 straight aero spokes per wheel and sealed cartridge bearings, providing a stable and efficient platform for track use.

The Mavic Ellipse Wheelset is purpose-built for the demands of track cycling, suitable for both rigorous training sessions and competitive events. These wheels feature 30mm deep aluminium rims, optimized for aerodynamic performance and stability on the velodrome. With an internal rim width of 15mm, they are designed to accommodate clincher tyres. Each wheel is constructed with 20 straight aero spokes, creating a strong and reliable connection between the rim and hub. The hubs are crafted from aluminium and utilize sealed cartridge bearings for smooth operation and durability. Notably, the hub flanges are spaced widely to enhance overall wheel stiffness. The rear hub offers a practical design with two threads, enabling the use of two different sprockets for rapid gear adjustments, which is beneficial for varied training or race conditions. It is important to note that the Ellipse Wheelset is specifically for track use and does not feature brake tracks, making it unsuitable for road cycling.
