The Shimano XT BR-M8120 / BR-M8100 disc brake set is designed for Enduro, All Mountain, and Cross Country applications. It features a 4-piston front brake and a 2-piston rear brake, both with resin pads. The front brake has a post mount caliper and is designed to provide extra braking power. The rear brake saves weight with its 2-piston system. Both calipers offer excellent brake control and a simple connection system. The brake levers are I-Spec EV compatible and feature a 2-finger design with reach adjust and contact point adjustment.
