Thanks to the honeycomb structure of the innovative Multi Speed design, the AirBreaker always offers you optimum ventilation, since it doses the ventilation as it is needed - maximum ventilation on slow, mountainous stages and optimum aerodynamics on fast, flat stages.

With the AirBreaker, ABUS has introduced one of the lightest helmets on the market without sacrificing aerodynamics. My test helmet in size L weighs in at 225 g. Adjusting it to the head is done as usual by means of a turning mechanism, which makes the entire process extremely user-friendly. The chin strap fits perfectly right away, which is good because it cannot be adjusted in the area of the ears. The AirBreaker looks very sleek and the quality is very good, just as I had hoped. The choice of colours is immense, I almost couldn't make up my mind. On my first ride, I immediately felt the low weight and the insanely good ventilation. My head stays pleasantly cool even on a climb at 28°C outside temperature. The helmet feels very comfortable even on long tours - sometimes I don't even notice that it's still on my head. My conclusion: The ABUS AirBreaker is an all-round premium helmet that perfectly combines lightweight, ventilation and aerodynamics and is therefore second to none. It is so comfy that it has become my favourite helmet for the summer months!
