This makes it the ideal companion on solo adventures or rides alone in the wilderness. The NFC chip can be easily read by holding an NFC-enabled smartphone directly over the helmet. It can instantly provide rescuers on the scene of an accident with the information they need to make the best treatment decisions in the crucial "golden hour" immediately following an accident. Other safety technologies such as the MIPS safety system provide additional protection for gravel bike and trail riders.

The Ventral Air MIPS, with precise vents and integrated channels, controls air intake at high and low speeds and expels excess air, giving the helmet a cooling effect on the entire head.

POC's new performance helmet is specifically designed to provide unprecedented cooling. Precise vents and integrated channels control air intake at high and low speeds, and dissipate excess air so the helmet has a cooling effect on the entire head. Ideal for longer rides in the mountains or hotter days in the saddle. The Ventral Air MIPS improves the aerodynamic profile and minimizes air resistance. Special ventilation zones provide optimal cooling, while the aerodynamically optimized trailing edge reduces air turbulence.

The exceptionally lightweight road cycling helmet was developed according to POC's Whole Helmet Concept™. It features a full wrap-around one-piece shell and EPS insert for the ideal balance between weight and safety. It also features MIPS rotational impact protection. Other practical features include an easy adjustment system for a personalized fit and a goggle holder for easy and secure storage of goggles while riding.
