Alpina Ravel

The RAVEL loves gravel. The dynamic bars indicate the direction of travel: It goes forward. And when it gets fast, the gaps ensure good ventilation. If the gravel road is rough, the helmet should fit perfectly. The Ravel's height-adjustable run system guarantees that. In addition, the Gravel helmet is safe, lightweight and comfortable to wear thanks to the Inmold-Tec manufacturing.

An antibacterial interior ensures that it stays that way. Optionally, the Ravel can be equipped with a flash light. The Ravel is "Made in Germany".

Technologies

AIR FLOW VENTING
Alpina developers spend a lot of time and energy to constantly improve the ventilation of our cycling helmets. Through wind tunnel tested arrangement of vents, our engineers create a "Venturi" effect inside the helmet that cools the head, leading to less sweat and higher performance.

ANTIBACTERIAL INTERIOR
The padding material prevents the formation of germs and odors when sweating. The helmet pads are dermatologically tested and have excellent skin compatibility. They can be easily removed and washed at a maximum temperature of 40°.

FLY NET
The front ventilation openings of the helmet are equipped with a mesh fabric. This performs the same function as an insect screen and prevents insect bites on the scalp in hot and humid riding periods and places.

HI-EPS
The inner shell of every Alpina helmet is made of Hi-EPS ("High Expanded Polystyrene"). It consists of microscopic air chambers that optimally absorb the forces acting during an impact. Despite optimum protection, HI-EPS ensures extra-thin walls and slim helmet shapes.

INMOLD
In the Inmold production process, the helmet upper shell made of polycarbonate is "baked" together with the EPS granulate of the helmet body under high heat and strong pressure. This creates an extensive and inseparable bond between the upper and lower shells. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.

RUN SYSTEM CLASSIC
If you're just going shopping on your bike, you don't necessarily need an elaborate and expensive fitting system. Here, the RUN SYSTEM CLASSIC is enough: A simple and robust adjustment wheel that keeps the helmet safely and easily where it belongs: on the head.

Y-CLIP
A helmet can only protect as well as it remains in the optimum position on impact. The fixation of the two straps under the ear plays a decisive role in this. The "Y-Clip" system from Alpina guarantees a millimeter-precise adjustment - in seconds.
